Internationally acclaimed lifestyle and athletic brand Skechers created the ultimate buzz in Dundrum Town Centre to mark the opening of their 24th store in Ireland.
With a star-studded fitness challenge led by Celebrity Trainer Paul Byrne featuring famous faces, heart rates were certainly raised with news of a prize of a €1,000 donation to the charity of the winner’s choice on the line.
Topping the leaderboard on the day was Aisling Quinn, who donated her winnings to The Dillon Quirke Foundation, a charity working to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and fund widespread cardiac screening for young people (aged 12-18) involved in sport.
The 4,000-square-foot Dundrum Town Centre Skechers store is not just about footwear and fashion; it’s about embracing an active lifestyle. Before being divided into smaller groups to take part in a high-energy workout on the Techno Gym circuit, the enthusiastic guests enjoyed a delicious spread of breakfast options, including fresh juices, smoothies, pastries, overnight oats, protein bites, and granola pots, while exploring the new store.
Put through their paces on the day were Irish Footballer Stephanie Roche, Pop Singer Lea Heart, Gillian and Aisling Quinn, Keith Duffy, Pro Dancer Adam Fogarty, Boxing Champion Kaci Rock, Model Sophie Anderton, Presenter Glenda Gilson, Lorna Spaine, Jennifer Carroll (Jens Journey), Denise Smith, Carla Piera Fitzgerald (Half Of Carla) and Personal Trainers Laura Scanlon Murphy (Bodyzone), Oisin Mulligan and Jack McGailey, who put Skechers’ performance-driven footwear and activewear to the test.
