Make fitness an everyday experience so it becomes second nature to children
It’s just amazing how so much can change in less than a decade when it comes to the fitness levels of our children.
My own four-year-old almost came out of the womb with a phone in her hand, she knows every game and, I hate to say it, is usually better at finding things on the phone than I am.
Being a businesswoman and a personal trainer, with a husband in the same game, means that we tend to be very fit, always looking for the next adventure. It does make me think though, with the technological advances of the last 15-20 years how will I keep my child interested in sports and fitness.
One thing children have a lot of is energy and it’s so important to nurture this through fun outdoor activities that they will enjoy.
