Bran and Banana Pancakes

One of our favourite pancake option at BodyByrne.

Pancake recipe:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup bran
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp sweetener or Agave syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ bananas

Method:

  1. Blend together eggs, sweetener and salt.
  2. In another bowl mash bananas.
  3. Combine bran with soda, almond milk, bananas and throughly mix into batter.
  4. Leave the pancake batter to stand for 5 mins while your pan heats.
  5. Lightly grease a frying pan with a little bit of coconut oil, add the batter and cook until set and lighty golden.
  6. Serve with your favorite fruit slices, berries or add some Highbank Organic Orchard Syrup.
